A Brief History

Established in 2008 by three movie buffs determined to enable and elevate the communal movie-watching experience on the Internet, LoveCinema turns the experience of movies and celebrity on its head – putting the audience in control.

Since the birth of the film industry 100 years ago, people have realized that movies are far more fun when you watch them with friends. LoveCinema takes this basic premise and brings it into the new millenium, by providing members with digital tools that enable them to connect in powerful ways.

LoveCinema enables movie lovers to create their own experiences — from the chatter, to the organizing and purchasing of tickets or DVDs—and turn word of mouth into word-of-mouse.

Celebrity Friends lets you easily become “friends” with celebrities.
